About a year ago, I decided to bring my camera on a trip to visit friends in Cincinnati. It wasn’t a full-on photo excursion, I just figured I’d get some skyline shots if given the chance. I came away with a couple I thought I’d share. The first is a simple shot looking across the river from Covington at the nineteenth century Roebling Bridge.

While driving around the city, I noticed a small hill that overlooked downtown and seemed like it could be a good vantage point. Later that day, my friend humored me by driving me out there, and, after scrambling a bit down the hillside to get to a good spot, this is what I came away with.
